The American Orient Express is a privately owned company and no relation to the British owned Orient Express. The train is a collection of cars that were purchased from museums and private collections throughout America. With many exciting itineraries On this journey, we travel from Los Angeles, up the Pacific Coast to San Fransisco, Sacramento then Portland to our final destination in Seattle. The journey takes in the wine valleys of the Nappa Valley, the Redwood forests, Hearst castle and more. The American Orient Express ceased operating in 2008.
