RODtv has introduced a new way to explore its growing collection of music, documentaries, archive programming and original productions without committing to an ongoing subscription.
The new 90-Day Pass costs £12.99 as a single payment, giving viewers access to everything on RODtv for three months. There is no automatic renewal and no monthly subscription — after 90 days, the pass simply ends.
Built around an archive of more than 4,000 hours of professionally produced programming, RODtv is continuing to expand with newly created programmes drawn from that archive as well as new productions made exclusively for the platform.
Among the collections currently being developed and expanded are Off The Record, uncovering stories from the world of music; The War Archive, drawing on rarely seen military film and interviews; The Bucket List, exploring remarkable places and experiences around the world; The Temple and the Craft; The Gallery Collection; and the newly launched Classic T Stage Sessions, presenting intimate live music performances in the tradition of The Old Grey Whistle Test.
Alongside the permanent catalogue, RODtv is also introducing Special Features — programmes and performances that appear on the platform for a limited period. These are included for 90-Day Pass holders while their pass is active.
Unlike open video-sharing platforms, RODtv isn’t built around user uploads, clips recorded from television or an endless stream of cheaply produced videos. Its programming is selected and curated from a substantial professional archive, with new programmes and exclusive productions being added as the platform develops.
