The One World project was formed within just a few days of the Boxing Day tsunami in 2005. Some of the world’s biggest names in music came tother to record the song, written by Mike Reid. Grief Never Grows Old. the amazing line-up comprised of Opera Singer, Russell Watson, from Culture Club, Boy George, Traffic’s Stevie Winwood, the legendary Gary Moore, The Beach Boys Brian Wilson, Jeffrey Foskett and Randell Kirsch. From YES, keyboardist Rick Wakeman and lead vocalist Jon Anderson, bassist and ex Rolling Stone, Bill Wyman, America frontmen Dewey Bunnell and Gerry Beckley, the Eagles Hank Linderman, the Who and Small Faces drummer, Kenney Jones, Barry and Robin Gibb from the Bee Gees, Celina Cherry from the Honeyz and Cliff Richard.
Also included were the National Children’s orchestra. Recording took place in part, at the famous Abbey Road Studios.
